Google has made search engine optimization, or SEO, one of the most important marketing avenues in modern times. Fueling almost all of Google’s profits, search marketing is now an established activity and has been figured out almost to a science. Although Google does change their ranking algorithms quiet frequently, it is still a very difficult task to organically make the first page of a search.

As Facebook was introduced to the masses and quickly gained their 500+ million user audience, social media marketing blew up. Now, in less than a decade, most established firms have an employee who’s main occupation is working on social media. Is social media worth it though? Can it prove itself as a viable marketing option vs SEO? Check out the video below and you may be surprised![MDGAdvertising]

Going on a long hike? Take some nuts. Nuts are light enough to carry around and still pack the high energy needed when you hit the trails. That’s why nuts are the greatest snack of all time! Nuts are used in almost all ingredients and can make or break a meal.  They put a crunchy twist to some of my favorite dishes; on salads, oatmeal, and cookies, the impact nuts supply never seem to fail me. When 3pm munchies roll around, nuts also make the perfect guilt-free snack.

Therefore, in honor of today’s infograhic, try sprinkling some nuts into one of your meals to add a little bit of oomph. You just might find your new favorite dish! [via]

Widely available web hosting has been around for quite a long time now, however it didn’t used to be this easy. I remember running my video production company website off a shared box with a few friends so we could split the exorbitant monthly fees. Now-a-days, shared web hosting is cheap and reliable, but with so many options, how do you choose the right one? I’ve personally used 3 or 4 of the providers in this infographic with mixed results, but I do have my favorites; but ultimatly you have to decide what features are right for you and your website.

If you’re looking for an easy way to compare the options, take a look below. [via Hosting Reviews]

Got Milk? [infographic]

How much do you know about milk? Prior to this infographic, I must admit that my knowledge was pretty limited. I drink milk occasionally, at best. I probably eat an average of five bowls of cereal a year and drink a few glasses a month. My borhters, on the other hand, are the complete opposite. They devour cereal like it’s going out of style. The two of them probably average a gallon a day. Which is a half gallon a day per brother. Yikes!

Now for some milky knowledge. Milk hits your grocery store in just two days, making it the freshest beverage. Humans over 9 years of age should drink 3 glasses of milk per day, which means I better get to the grocery and up my milk intake. Milk is also an excellent source of calcium, riboflavin, vitamin d, phosphorus, vitamin b-12 and many more. These health benefits just can’t be beat! Lets drink some milk, preferably with some cookies. ;) [Via]
