The holidays are coming, and sweet treats are inevitable. Gingerbread men, candy canes, pies, oh my! Even a health nut like myself can enjoy diving into pounds of sugary goodness on christmas. My personal favorite is pumpkin pie, I could eat a whole pie in one sitting.
My recommendation for the holidays is to eat a substantial meal before thinking about sweets. You’ll eat less of them on a full stomach. I find that they’re still just as delicious after a big meal! Here’s a good time to throw a statistic out there: 90% of people from the U.S. are chronically dehydrated! If you’re not taking clear and copious trips to the restroom every hour, consider drinking some water. Another suggestion is to buy organic candy, it’s really good for you because it’s from nature.
