Jet lag can be a serious drag on your vacation time. Fight it off with these nine tips for travelers.
Tip number one is the easiest and perhaps one of the most effective. Spending your first day in your holiday location outside exploring is a good idea anyway, and it combines tip one with tip two, getting you outside and moving. I don’t know about those re-timer glasses, though. If they do work (and hey, they might) they might be worth investing in if you’re a very frequent traveler.
Napping always makes me feel like I’ve been punched in the face, but if you really need the extra sleep it’s worth it. If you’re a good and heavy sleeper you might think you don’t need a sleep mask and ear plugs, and maybe you’re right, but give it a try. If you’re anything less than a very heavy sleeper you should absolutely try these accoutrements, especially in a new and unfamiliar environment like a hotel room.
