The octopus is one of those creatures that looks more like it belongs in science fiction than from real life. I was always fascinated with animal life, especially with things with alot of arms. Seems like I’d want an octupus on my side in a fight.
We all know that octupus have eight long tentacles that have suction cups on them. However, that is not the most outlandish thing on this creature. As most of you know, the octopus has an ability to completely disguise itself. I’ve spent hours on YouTube looking at the videos when octopus changes not only its colors, but also the texture of its skin. Talk about a real camouflage artist.
One fact I can tell you from personal experience is that octopuses can bite, and they’re not always harmless either. Their venom allows them to hunt and kill. A blue ringed octopus is one of the most dangerous.
