I’m sure there are some people reading this that consider themselves pizza superfans. If you’re one of these people, today’s infographic is for you. (And even if you’re not, you’ll want to check this out anyway.)
Today’s infographic is a “who’s who” of pizza types from all over. Most would be familiar with a few of the types displayed in this infographic, such as the “New York Slice” or the “Hawaiian” pizza. There are quite a bit more beyond the few most people would likely be familiar with, however. There’s actually quite a variety.
For instance, have you ever been unable to decide between seafood or pizza? Well, there’s a pizza for that! Let me introduce you to the Frutti di Mare, hailing from Italy. This pizza is simply tomato sauce topped with a plethora of seafood (mussels, clams, octopus, squid, shrimp).
How about if you’re feeling healthy and want to cut down on the carbs? Never fear, the cauliflower crust pizza can still satisfy your pizza cravings. The cauliflower crust pizza is cooked cauliflower mixed with egg and cheese, which is then baked, topped, then baked again. While not necessarily a superfood, it surely is a more healthy alternative to traditional pizzas.
I’ve barely scratched the surface on all of the varities displayed in this infographic, so check out the rest for yourself to get acquainted with these types of pizza (and perhaps begin your journey to eating each of these pizzas.)
