Regardless if whether you are working in a restaurant or in a bank, you will be surrounded by people of all kinds. Different personalities will react to working environments differently and it is management’s job to make sure that everybody works well together.
I never envisioned myself as a leader of any kind of group. But as it turns out I had to wear management boots a couple of times. I was awful at it. I thought because I knew how to raise my voice a bit, I could be a boss. Turns out I struggled with motivating people individually.
I approached everyone the same as I would approach myself, but what I didn’t realize was that what motivates someone could crush the motivation of someone else.
For the sake of simplicity, people are divided into two groups the extroverts and introverts. Each group has its strengths and weaknesses, and learning how to work with them provides the foundation for a positive outcome.
