South Africa went all out this year trying to build up their infrastructure for decades to come. Soccer seems to be getting more popular in America so I wonder if we’ll be hosting a World Cup anytime soon. Would we pour this much money into preparing for the games? I know I wouldn’t mind a high-speed rail in Texas to get me around.
Well, the race for the Cup goes on even without USA (USA…USA). I hope the Netherlands can beat Brazil on the 2nd. Either way, both winners and losers get to appreciate the work South Africa put in to make this year’s World Cup one of the most popular in history. [Via]
