If you are in shape, it seems like you are screwed and must find another way to save a couple of bucks. It has been well documented that being obese shortens your life, but did you know it also lessens your net worth? The annual average cost of being obese ranges from $3000 for men to $5000 for women, the difference being women’s wages suffer. So what have we learned? Not only does being obese affect your health, but the amount of money in your wallet as well.
