Before I have spring break I get to do a project for Marketing about being a social media manager. I already know quite a lot about the social media realm, but the amount of time constantly put into work as Social Media Manager is ridiculous. I could defiantly do it, it would be a hard lifestyle to get used to, but I can’t say that facebook and twitter aren’t fun.
I know some parents tell their kids that the amount of time they spend on facebook is a waste of time, but the child can just say they are training for work one day. Back when I only had video games, telling my parents I was going to be a professional gamer never got a good response. Social media marketing is a much more realistic profession. [Via]
