If you’re trying to stick to a budget, preparing food ahead of time is a must. When you don’t have recipes to choose from, you may find yourself with bland foods in the fridge.
This infographic covers several recipes that cost less than $3.30 per portion. If you’re cooking for two or less, two or three of these meals could feed your family for a week. We start off with roasted sausage and apple with sauerkraut, a recipe filled with flavor that takes less than an hour from start to finish.
Another recipe that sticks out: Mushroom and sage gnocchi. This recipe combines crispy gnocchi with a simple mushroom sauce and sage leaves and requires butter, white wine, sage leaves and onions.
If you’re looking for something a bit more exotic, try number six on the list. Tahini and honey chicken with paprika potatoes requires only eight ingredients and can serve four people.
Lastly, we have fried butter beans and avocado. This can be had for breakfast or dinner and includes avocados, garlic cloves, sherry vinegar and butter beans.
