Whether you write for a living or haven’t authored anything since your school days, we can all relate to the pain of writer’s block.
Writing isn’t the only thing this applies to. Artists and advertisers alike can relate to the creative struggle. It’s frustrating when you have to meet a deadline and have no ideas in mind.
Instead of scratching your head at your desk, here are some practical things you can do to get creative juices flowing and meet all of your deadlines in time.
The first and most important point: Step away from your computer! Even if it’s just averting your eyes for a few minutes, make sure you take regular breaks.
Other tips from this list: You can try to meditate or learn something new. While it may sound counterintuitive to learn something new while you’re already struggling, it’ll give you a mental workout.
Another tip: Try to surround yourself with beauty. That could be as simple as taking your job outside or finding a cozy coffee shop to work in.
