The Xerox Corporation is all about innovation and discovery. The company has been around since 1906, which means it’s got a long and interesting history. Here are some of the most fascinating facts about Xerox:

Apart from photocopiers, printer cartridges and textile products, Xerox also manufactured Ferrite cores and Carbon Paper till around 1970 before phasing it out from its manufacturing units altogether because of high demand from public as well as private sectors.

Apart from photocopiers, printer cartridges and textile products, Xerox also manufactured Ferrite cores and Carbon Paper till around 1970 before phasing it out from its manufacturing units altogether because of high demand from public as well as private sectors.

The company was founded by Chester Carlson in 1906 with an idea to develop a duplicate device for newspapers that can be used by multiple users at the same time. He applied for a patent for his invention but was refused multiple times due to lack of proper legal documentation and finally got it approved in 1938 under the name “Konor”. Later when he started working on this project again after quitting his job at AT&T research center (where he worked previously), he came up with the idea of using static electricity instead of photoconductive material like selenium which is what most people used back then in their experiments because they didn’t have access to materials like xerographic toners either!

It is surprising to see how much Xerox has gone from a small company that was founded in Rochester, New York, to a multinational giant that is known for providing state of the art technology solutions.
