Connery is the Bond of Bonds, but I’ll admit to a soft spot in my heart for the somewhat less admired Pierce Brosnan. He walks a thin line between smooth and cheesy that I think works very well for the role, and suits the franchise’s the comic book-esque qualities. Roger Moore is a perfectly acceptable Bond that I have no issues with and is very good at being extremely British. Timothy Dalton has won my favor for his hilarious role in Hot Fuzz, which, if you haven’t seen it, do so before you come ’round here again or there will be trouble.
